Artistic Director

Risha is a playwright, director, designer and visual artist. After studying in Vancouver, BC with D.D. Kugler and designers Barry Hegland, John MacFarlane and Gary Harris Risha received her BFA in theatre and returned to her native Toronto. She founded draft89 in an effort to create a safe place for development and collaboration. Through the draft89 collective Risha has been able to create and workshop new pieces such as Tragic Eccentrics (2003) Brief (2006) and FOE (2007).
