Samantha Brown is a Toronto based visual artist and designer in theatre and film. She studied Fine Art and Theatre at the University of Guelph, focusing on theatre design and the creation of interactive sculpture.

She has recently become a collaborative member of draft89 as an opportunity to continue exploring the design of sets and props and to collaborate with multidisciplinary artists throughout this process.

Other theatre work includes her work with Patria Music Theatre productions- The productions she has worked on include: Asterion, The Enchanted Forest and Palace of the Cinnabar Phoenix. Her most recent film work has been with the Canadian Film Center, production designing for various experimental short films.

With draft89 she has designed and built for FOE and she is currently developing designs for The Demise of Ordinary Objects with various artists.
